I’ve had the opportunity to have my salon company on Clearwater Beach for over 25 years now. In that time our company has grown and expanded locations three times.
We’ve built long standing relationships with many of our guests. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful local clientele, and also have the opportunity to meet people from around the world daily, that are vacationing here. I have to say, the creativity is what drew me to this industry, however, the people are what have kept me. While I enjoyed many years of being a service provider in this industry, my time is now spent on managing the salon, and growing our team members. We strive to keep our service standards high, have committed to investing in continuing education for our team, and along with this, created a non competitive team based environment.
I believe this is what sets our company apart from most. I am proud of our salon team, I’m continually impressed with their creative and technical abilities, their dedication to continuing education, and most of all, the passion they have, for what they do. It is great to be a part of!

I have been in the industry for over 25 years and the owner of Sharmaines for over 25 years. Creating a wonderful guest experience in our amazing salon is a big focus. I love doing hair color with Balayage techniques, and Ombre, and specialize in corrective coloring and blonding. My passion is giving each guest a custom-made hair plan as a part of a service as well as passing my expertise through to new stylists.
I love the unique culture we have created with our salon team since we creatively feed off each other and enjoy a non-competitive talented salon environment. As the lead educator for our hair team, I see that standards are kept high and always focus on giving value to our salon guests. As a Redken Certified Designer, Colorist, and Artist, I have an unending desire to always be learning, helping and training others. I am an ambassador with the goal to help facilitate, learn to lead better and always improve with the important task of hiring and training newer stylists.
I have worked with New York Fashion week artists and Tearsheets, artistic teams which helped me skill up so I can pass it along to others. I have attended advanced training at the Redken Exchange in NYC, & L’Oréal Academy in London. I am certified in advanced Japanese straightening, Brazilian Blowout & keratin treatments, and multiple Hair Extensions methods including Bellami, and an educator for Silx Global “Illusion” Extension Method.

After being in the beauty industry for 17 years now and a stylist for 10 at Sharmaines, I’ve been so fortunate to have had many opportunities to grow in this industry by being a part of Sharmaine’s team. I love that here at our salon we are always continuing our education and work together. I have a passion to learn and teach others as I am also a part of Summit consulting program traveling to help other salons reach their fullest potential. As a Redken Specialist, Redken Color Authority, and certified in Luxury Hair Extensions specialist, I love creating beautiful color looks, blondes, and transformational makeovers. I also specialize in hand-tied hair extensions, beaded weft systems, and am a color matching expert for anyone wanting to do a hair makeover using extensions. I offer free consultations by appointment.
